New Year, New Me?

I see a New Year resolution as a task that I have to complete. For me, it’s a ridged line from which I cannot stray. This leads to the kinds of pressure and negative self-talk that I describe above. A goal is a destination… and a destination needs a journey… I LOVE a journey!

Leading by Example

I read a fantastic post this morning about a chef who cooks his staff proper meals and makes sure that they take regular breaks. It really resonated with me. I truly believe that breaks are important for both our physical and mental health. However, do I actually follow my own advice? If I’m totally honest with myself, I don’t.
