I’m often asked, “What sort of therapy will work best for me?”.
The honest answer is, the therapy that you connect with… and this isn’t something for you to be worried about. That’s my job.
We can figure out together pretty quickly
Some people turn up wanting only hypnotherapy and leave having only worked with talking therapy. Others don’t think that walk & talk therapy is for them, but after 1 session of being outside, they don’t want to move back into the therapy room.
The choice of how we work in therapy is something that can change over time
Changing our approach in therapy is part of how I work and is strongly linked to the fact that I’m trained in lots of different therapy styles, methods and approaches. This variety of styles, methods and approaches allows me to flex and adapt with you during your sessions, meaning that you get the very best approach at any given point of your therapy.
If at any point you think “I really enjoyed what we did in that session”, you can let me know and we’ll use that approach more often. Equally, if you don’t enjoy a style, we won’t use it in the future.
